Our History
In 1998, a newlywed couple in Washington D.C. decided they wanted to make a difference in the world and formed Mountain Be Removed Outreach Center. Because of what the couple experienced as a result of living on the streets, Carlton and Samonia both had a passion for feeding and ministering to the homeless. By 2014, what started as feeding the homeless in D.C. had turned into a family-run 501c3 that preaches the gospel and supports financially struggling Central Pennsylvania families.
Our Mission
MBROC is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting low-income individuals and families. We address food insecurity by feeding thousands and providing essential resources to struggling communities. Through educational training and specialized programs, including initiatives for seniors, we aim to empower lives, reduce poverty, and promote values that build communities.
As a Christian non-profit organization, by sharing the gospel, feeding our community, and holding Prophetic & Apostolic training classes, we are actively trying to end poverty while increasing the kingdom of God.
Our Vision
As we grow, MBROC works toward not only being the #1 Christian food source in PA for those in need, but also being a great Ministry known for its Prophetic School, miracles, signs, and wonders.
Our Purpose
Mountain Be Removed Outreach Center (MBROC) exists to uplift and empower vulnerable communities by providing essential support and education. We believe that food security, knowledge, and community engagement are fundamental to breaking cycles of poverty and hardship. Our work goes beyond feeding individuals—we equip families with the resources, education, and skills they need to thrive. Through specialized programs, including initiatives for seniors, MBROC fosters long-term stability, self-sufficiency, and resilience, ensuring that no one is left behind.
Our Impact
MBROC has established many Prophetic & Apostolic Leaders in the Kingdom of God. With the support of our community, we have been able to feed, clothe, & financially support thousands of people for 24 years. Every year, we give out at least $100k in groceries alone. Our organization gives not only spiritual nourishment but physical as well.

Our Co-Founder Carlton Whisonant serves as President and Overseer of Mountain Be Removed Outreach Center. He is also an author and owner of CW Fish in Pennsylvania. He serves as the Architect/Founder of Man Up, an intentional community centered on men's character, growth, and communal impact. Locally, he also serves as Judge of Elections for Penbrook Ward 4.

Our Co-Founder, Samonia Whisonant, serves as Executive Director and Apostle in Mountain Be Removed Outreach Center. She functions as an author, CEO, public speaker, and board-certified aromatherapist. Samonia also serves as Dauphin County Committee woman and the Majority Inspector of Elections for Penbrook Ward 4.

Chante' Whisonant serves as Elder, Vice President, Youth Coordinator, and head of the Prophetic Training class in Mountain Be Removed Outreach Center. She works as a public speaker, certified life coach, author, and CEO. Chante's also the Minority Inspector of Elections in Penbrook Ward 4.
